Ann Holdreith is a contemporary artist with a unique vision. Her work displays a richness of color and facility of brushwork. She often incorporates mixed media such as fabrics, papers and graphic elements into her paintings. Her American Quilt Series is reminiscent of Albers and Rothko in its depth of colors and the play of colors against each other. The Light Equation, Freedom and Essence Series balance order with spontaneity and surprise the viewer while drawing upon a pop art influence. Ann is fluent and diverse in her approach to painting and has over two decades of gallery credits.
